No thanks. I prefer to actually hunt wild deer. This is like shooting fish in a barrel. Deer farms have done nothing but ruin real hunting for everyone.

If the client had terminal cancer and was doing a make a wish thing, ignore what I have to say. Otherwise, give me a break. Drive across the country to “hunt” a “buck of a lifetime.” SMH. You mean “drive across the country to execute a genetically modified pet with a high powered rifle as it routinely eats lunch whilst you sit in a blind.” I flew half way across the world to hunt Lord Derby Eland. I walked 12 miles a day for 11 days in 109 degree heat with tsetse flies and choking Saharan dust where reading the wind wrong or stepping on a crunchy leaf at the wrong time blows your entire day of catching up to the herd just to get one shot at a free range, wild animal and then shoot it off of shooting sticks. THATS hunting. My animal had never been touched by man until I put my hands on it after making a 180 yard shoot off sticks. It didn’t have a name. It didn’t come to a feeder everyday at 7:03. It wasn’t in a 11’ tall fence. I have no respect for sport killing. It’s pathetic. Let that sink in... think about what I said. I’m a sport hunter, but I have no respect for sport killing. REAL hunters pay for the hunt, not the trophy. The animal is secondary to the experience. If it’s just about the killing for you, you’re not a hunter. Don’t call shooting pen raised deer in a high fence hunting. Call it what it is. Killing. Execution. Assassination. Slaughter. Murder. It pisses real hunters off. This crap gives us a bad name. High fences have a place... saving endangered species, like the rhino or addax and giving wildlife value in places they otherwise wouldn’t. But last time I checked white tail aren’t endangered and growing 3 1/2 year old deer that measure 300” then charging fools their life savings to kill them has nothing to do with conservation. “Congratulations.” Pssshhh. Whatever. Fair chase is the ONLY way to hunt and take big game.
